Today: “A Promise to Forget” • Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 5:1-10; Mark 10:32-45 • We worship the God who is all knowing, all powerful, all loving, and faithful to every promise. The Word of the Lord is filled with promises of things He will do to bless and to save, to rescue and redeem His people. His word will never fail. Today we ponder the promise from the God who knows all things, whose new covenant is made complete in Jesus, that He will remember our sins no more. What do you wish that you could forget? What are you thankful that God—the one who wipes the slate clean through Jesus—will fail to remember?  |  (This is a part 5 of our “Promises…Promises” sermon series.)

Special Presentation Today: Hans Tews, A Journey of Faith – 1:00pm, Sanctuary • Come be inspired by the story of PoP/PdeP member, Hans Tews. Hans has written an autobiography of his early life sharing how he and his parents survived World War II under very difficult circumstances and started a new life in America. “I wanted them to know the Holocaust was real and that it affected not only Jews but anyone who would not pledge loyalty to the Third Reich or in any way criticized the regime…. I also wanted to witness about the many miracles of God in my life.” Hans’ memories illustrate how God uses our experiences to shape our faith and, sometimes even, the trajectory of our lives.

For Parents! New Group on Sunday Mornings, beginning after Easter• A class for parents about faith and family relationships will be offered on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m. from April 7 to May 19.
