United in Service

Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go…!” There is much to be done and none of us can do it alone. In fact, at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz, we mobilize our resources to demonstrate Christ’s love to every person and every family, and by God’s grace, it takes the whole of our multicultural church to be effective in this diverse community. We are not just better together, but God has knit us together and united us in service. How is prayer fundamental to being united in service? What challenges are there as we mobilize for action? In what ways does the Lord invite us to trust Him as He draws us together across cultures and generations to make an impact for His kingdom?

From Series: "United • Unidos"

Beginning Sunday, August 19, we are kicking off our theme for the year ahead! "United • Unidos" focuses on our unity in Christ and draws us together as one Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz family. Jesus says in John 15:5, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." Together, we strive to produce fruit for God's Kingdom.
