How do you tend to see the cup—as half empty, or half full? How do you see God—as a God of scarcity, or a God of abundance? As Jesus feeds 5000+ with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, He demonstrates that our God is a God of abundance. There is nothing He lacks, and He is able to supply all we need. This can be a risky topic, because we all have needs that appear to be unmet. But God’s great promises fly in the face of what we can see with our eyes. What might His promise mean for you: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19)?
