Resurrecting Life Abundantly

So much of what we call “life” is lived out in the mundane, not seeming “extraordinary” to say the least. And yet, there are times when circumstances beyond our control knock us off our feet, and other times when we simply struggle with the consequences of our own choices. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, knows His sheep by name. He so attaches His life to the welfare of His sheep that He takes the fury of the thief who comes to steal and to kill and destroy. Our risen Shepherd-Lord lives and calls us to the most extraordinary, abundant life. Can you hear His voice? As Jesus calls you by name, how do you see that He has raised you to an extraordinary life? As Jesus leads you forward, how does that fill your life with purpose? Do you know anyone who, like a wandering sheep, needs to be led to the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls?

From Series: "Easter: The Change We Need"

It seems the one constant in our world is that things are always changing. Jesus, with power over even death itself, has the power to bring about the change we need. Our prayer is that in these weeks following Easter, people at Prince of Peace would experience the power of Jesus’ resurrection as never before, finding in Christ the change we all need.
