Resurrecting Hearts
What does Jesus do with frozen, stone-cold hearts? Hearts like the ones inside these despondent disciples who are on the road to Emmaus? Jesus, the Resurrected One, shows up and He melts frozen hearts with God’s promises and His presence—more than that, He sets those resurrected hearts ablaze with His love. Was there ever a time you found your heart frozen with grief, uncertainty, or fear? How does Jesus come to us to breathe new life into our hearts and set them ablaze for Him? What would a ministry that is filled with people having hearts on fire for Jesus look like?

It seems the one constant in our world is that things are always changing. Jesus, with power over even death itself, has the power to bring about the change we need. Our prayer is that in these weeks following Easter, people at Prince of Peace would experience the power of Jesus’ resurrection as never before, finding in Christ the change we all need.
