Resurrecting Truth
You, no doubt, are aware that we live in a world with severe “truth decay.” Today we have Jesus’ word that He has called in reinforcements for us—the Spirit of Truth to dwell within us, the Holy Spirit who leads us into all truth. As the Holy Spirit connects us to the truth of Jesus’ love, His peace washes over us and we are raised up to live as the people of God. The Spirit empowers us to overcome truth decay as we walk in Christ’s ways and winsomely invite others to the true life that is found in Christ alone. In a world where truth is so elusive, people long for something true and authentic with power to set them free. The Spirit of Truth has made us alive in Christ to share the truth of His love for all. Will we allow His power to work in us and through us?

It seems the one constant in our world is that things are always changing. Jesus, with power over even death itself, has the power to bring about the change we need. Our prayer is that in these weeks following Easter, people at Prince of Peace would experience the power of Jesus’ resurrection as never before, finding in Christ the change we all need.
