Message: “Persevering through Discouragement” from Rev. Ken Green

If this is the time for God’s work to begin, the “kairos moment,” what keeps us from it? We have been called to be fruitful, committed, and devoted to Christ, yet we live in an age where faith is often compartmentalized or marginalized, and life can be disjointed and chaotic. It can be so much easier to “go with the flow” than to consider God’s plans and prioritize those in our lives. What truly makes this a “kairos moment” (the opportune time), though, is the way in which our God gave priority to reaching the world with His love by sending His Son. Jesus’ effort, commitment, and sacrifice brought us nothing less than God’s very best. What things reflect my priorities in life? In what ways can I be trusting the Lord in everything, even in seeking first His Kingdom?
