Message: “Our Hands, His Work” from Rev. Ken Green

Happy Anniversary Prince of Peace! September is Prince of Peace’s anniversary month, and we are celebrating 60 years of God’s grace in 2017. We thank our Lord for the Gospel presence we have in this neighborhood at the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Semoran Boulevard. We believe that God has planted us here for a reason, to be “the heart, hands, and feet of Jesus—in the heart of Orlando.” Do you believe that you have a calling from God? To be sure, you are called to be His child. And, whatever your station in life might be (your vocation), you are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for you to do (Ephesians 2:10). That’s a lot to wrap our heads around, but if our focus is on Christ’s calling and His work, it simply means that each day we pray that we would discover how God is already at work and then discern how He might desire for us to join Him. You are God’s handiwork, His craftsmanship. How will you pray daily this week to be used by Him? God will bless the work of your hands as you join Him in His work.
