Message: “Listening and Doing” from Rev. Ken Green

Today we kick off the Red Letter Challenge at Prince of Peace/Príncipe de Paz. If you look up the word “challenge” in the dictionary, in the definition you might come across the words, “invitation” or “engage.” Jesus invites us to engage in His word. He doesn’t just want us to know or be aware of what He taught (although, that is foundational), but He challenges us to put His words into practice—and that can be challenging. Are you up to the challenge? How familiar are you with Jesus’ words, His teaching, and His commands? Is there something about this challenge that makes you hesitant? Lean into that, and lean on Jesus. He wants to transform us.
