Who Do I Love

“Who is my neighbor?” When asked that question in the context of “love your neighbor as yourself,” Jesus tells the story of one who loves, rescues, and serves their mortal enemy. That love is exactly how God loves us: without exception, His perfect love is for all people. Ultimately, it is only through Jesus—receiving God’s love through Him and being transformed by the Spirit’s power—that we can even begin to love others the way God has loved us. Who is the person (or, people group) that you are having the most trouble showing God’s heart to right now? Will you allow God to change your heart? To what length has God gone to demonstrate His love for you?
