Message: “Giving” from Ken Green

Perhaps no “red letters” of Jesus will challenge us quite like what we’ll read during this week on giving. Jesus frequently challenged people’s attitudes toward possessions, money, and giving. These things, ultimately, are all matters of the heart—and Jesus is all about the business of our hearts! ("Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21). Because Jesus has given everything He had—even His very life—to make us God’s treasured possession, He then can appropriately challenge us to live for God with everything that we have. Have you gone “all in” for God by trusting Him with all that you have and all that you are? What makes this a challenge for you, personally? Not only does Jesus challenge us, but He also promises to supply all we need.
