Message: “Faithful to Fulfill” from Rev. Dr. Rick Armstrong

Some days it’s hard for us to just fulfill the most basic obligations in this life. If fulfilling all that we’re obligated to do for God and for our neighbor fell squarely on our shoulders, could you imagine what that burden would be like? It would most certainly crush us. That’s where grace comes in…that’s where Jesus comes in. He knows that the Law of God crushes us, and so He Himself shoulders the burden, both that of our sin and the burden of fulfilling all that God requires. Through Jesus, God has delivered us. Jesus has set us free and has even called us the “saints” of God (holy and set apart). Jesus, the unblemished and Holy One, delivered us through offering Himself for broken people just like us, all “so that we would serve the living God” (Hebrews 9:14). What could we ever give in return to adequately express our gratitude? So great is His faithfulness!
