Message: “Drawn by the Good News” from Rev. Ed DeWitt

Jesus, the Word made flesh, reads the words of the Prophet Isaiah to the people. He has good news—the best news! God is fulfilling His promises! The Lord’s Anointed One is right there before them as He delivers God’s proclamation of freedom, a declaration of God’s favor and restoration—a message of pure Gospel. How will the people receive the One who is the fulfillment of God’s promises? Perhaps it’s important for us to consider how we will receive Him as Jesus reveals Himself to us today in His word. In what ways do you need the freedom, hope, and restoration that only He can give? And how has He, in our day, sent us to proclaim His goodness and mercy to others? Today in our worship we welcome and celebrate the Gospel ministry of Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries (www.rlom.org). Through the Redeeming Life Maternity Home, they are a beacon of light in Central Florida demonstrating God’s love in action and in truth. Pastor Ed DeWitt, Chairman of their board, shares God’s word with us this morning. His wife, Sheryl DeWitt, is RLOM’s Executive Director.
