Drawn by Jesus' Glory

The Transfiguration—that time Jesus went up a high mountain with Peter, James, and John, to pray. There they saw Jesus’ glory as He visited with Moses and Elijah. The topic of the conversation Jesus is having with Moses and Elijah? Literally, His coming “exodus” which He would bring to fulfillment in Jerusalem. There His glory would be seen at the cross, the redemption of God’s people through God’s chosen One. God the Father affirms: this is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to Him. Are you drawn to the glory and majesty of Jesus? He is God’s Son, the chosen One. How are you listening to Him today?
