Jesus was simply amazing. He did things no one had ever seen before—by His power and by His teaching with authority, He changed lives and changed the eternal destinies of all who would trust in Him. People today do not need Jesus’ power any less than in the days He walked this earth, but what have people come to expect of the church and the Gospel? And how do we connect them with the One who can change their lives now and for all eternity? What have you come to expect of Jesus? Have we failed to acknowledge that He is no less powerful today? How will you live in His power and under His authority—while drawing others to see the One who can transform their lives?
