The Lord our God is a God of relationships. He demonstrates this as He builds His covenant relationship with His people. Even the Commandments He gives center on the relationship He has initiated with His people. As Moses experiences this personal relationship with the LORD, he longs to know the LORD more and more, asking the LORD to reveal His glory. Is it any wonder that God’s Son, Jesus, would Himself come to establish His relationship with us as God’s people, revealing the fullness of our compassionate and gracious God at the cross and open tomb!?! What does it mean to you that you have a relationship with Him? How can you share this with someone else this week?
“The Story” is an abridged, chronological version of the Bible laid out in the format of a novel. It can help people get a better sense of the Bible as one continuous narrative of God’s love, centering ultimately on the redemption He has given through His Son.
