Message: “Ch. 26 – The Last Seven Words of Christ” from Rev. Ken Green

In chapter 13 of The Story, Solomon succeeds his father, David, and he is blessed by the Lord with a “wise and discerning heart.” As King over Israel and Judah, Solomon would build a temple for the Name of the Lord, the place God had identified as where His Name and His glory dwelt. On this Sunday that we observe The Epiphany of our Lord, we see how the Magi are drawn to this one named Jesus, the Messiah. Even today God’s Name has gone out into the world as people are introduced to Jesus. If we are called by the Lord's name (Isaiah 43:7)—and His Name has been placed on us in Holy Baptism—how does God use us to bear His name and His presence into this world? And how does that change everything?
