Ch. 18 - A Winsome Witness (While in a Foreign Land)

It must be remarkably challenging to share the story of our God with someone who has absolutely no concept that He has revealed Himself as the one true God—the creator of all things, the One who holds the future in His hands as the Most High, the One who is gracious and powerful to save His people. And that is what Daniel is called to share in a winsome way while in the foreign land of Babylon. In doing so, Daniel bridges cultures and contexts to bear witness to God. In our day and age, perhaps, it isn't all that different. More and more people claim no religious affiliation, and fewer and fewer people are introduced the God who has revealed Himself as the Triune God. What are the challenges that face us as we seek to introduce people to Jesus, the Son of God? What should be our approach? How can we meet people right where they are at in order to be the face of Christ to them?
