Message: “Ch. 10 – Restoration: The Lord is Calling” from Rev. Ken Green

This week in The Story, we meet young Samuel. The Lord is calling Him, and as a prophet of the Lord in the power of the Spirit, Samuel will fulfill a substantial role in declaring God’s word and anointing the first kings of Israel. All this is a part of God’s “upper story” plan to one day send His Anointed One, Jesus the Messiah, who rules forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus has called us to be the people of the Lord, "anointing us and setting his seal of ownership on us, putting His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come” (2 Corinthians 1:21-22). Knowing that the Lord has restored you and set His seal of ownership upon you, how will you respond?
