Be Transformed by the Transfigured One

The Transfiguration refers to a specific time that Jesus took Peter, James, and John with him on a high mountain. There, Jesus’ appearance changed (that is, it was “transfigured”) and His glory was revealed to these three disciples. Then, God the Father declared, “This is my Son, whom I love. With Him I am well pleased. Listen to Him!” Jesus, quite simply, is the One who has changed the world. And just as He was “transfigured” before the eyes of Peter, James, and John, he transforms our lives by the power of His Word, by all He has done for the world, and by the Spirit He has given us. How would you describe the difference Jesus has made in your life? How could sharing that story with others change the world?
