Did you come ready to worship today? Authentic worship isn’t just about showing up and going through the motions. Rather, worship grows out of a living relationship with the Lord, who in mercy gave up His very own Son for us. All of life, then, becomes an act of worship for the children of God, offering themselves as living sacrifices. As we follow Jesus and trust in Him, He leads us to worship in Spirit and in truth. What does it look like to worship in “spirit and in truth”? What attitudes or actions have impeded your worship of Jesus? How can you, by the Spirit’s power, offer those things as living sacrifices as you worship God throughout the week?
