A Dad's Desire

On this Trinity Sunday, we remember and give thanks that God has revealed Himself as one God in three Persons: our Heavenly Father, who loved and cared for us so much that He gave His only Son, who died and rose again; and He has given us His Holy Spirit to sanctify us and fill us with the power of His love. And God has placed His name upon us in our baptism, making us His children. On this Father’s Day, we also remember all that our Heavenly Father desires for us as His children. We stand in awe that we can call him our Father, and we acknowledge His grand desires for us as we follow the Son and are filled with His Spirit.
