We are committed to protecting and serving vulnerable populations. There are individuals and families in our community affected by the loss of income associated with the shutting down of businesses and we believe the need is more critical now than ever! We are ready to help! Special procedures are implemented for the distribution that stress social distancing and minimize all contact: La distribución de comida del será autoservicio para protegernos todos.     • Drive-Thru distribution
    • Enter at the Curry Ford entrance
    • Stay in your car with windows closed
    • Follow instructions given by the helpers
    • Have your ID handy.

The Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Food Pantry is located in the Bickel Building on the east side of the church property (enter from Curry Ford Road). The pantry is able to provide groceries to over 300 families from Orange County each month. Families are provided food amounts based upon the number of persons in the family. Distribution typically occurs on the fourth Saturday of the month; see exact dates below. No appointment is necessary. Distribution begins at 9:00 am and ends at 11:00 am.

Volunteer Information

If you are healthy, without preexisting conditions or risk factors, and are interested in helping on Saturday, be at church by 7:30 am and park on the McDonald’s side of campus. For more information, please email foodpantry@poporlando.com.
