We’re happy to have you visiting!
Whether you are curious about just what church is or if you are seriously seeking a new church home, we would love for you to visit Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. If you’re a bit unsure of what to expect, hopefully the steps below will ease your Sunday morning nerves.
Worship together (virtually) with your Prince of Peace church family on this online platform: live.poporlando.com
1. Choose a Worship Service
We offer three different worship services on Sunday mornings. Traditional worship (pipe organ, hymns, liturgy) is at 9:00 am in the Sanctuary, Contemporary worship (praise and worship music, more casual environment) is at 11:00 am in the Family Life Center, and Spanish worship (en español) is at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. We recommend that you arrive about 15 minutes early, just so you have plenty of time to get situated.
Parking can be a little obscure on our campus from time to time. Much of our parking is located in the grass, so be prepared on a rainy morning to wear appropriate shoes. We do have paved handicapped parking available. Our campus parking can be accessed from Curry Ford Road westbound and Semoran Blvd. northbound. For directions, click here.
3. Find a Place You are Comfortable
We have a Welcome Center outside of the Sanctuary before the Traditional service (9:00) to help visitors with any questions they may have. Ushers are also available for assistance in all of our services. Upon arrival, you should be provided with a bulletin which will include the order of service and the CrossWalk–our weekly announcements publication.
Both of our worship facilities are equipped with “Hearing Loops” for individuals who need hearing assistance. If you have hearing aids, set them to the T-Coil mode. If you do not have hearing aids, or your hearing aids do not have a T-Coil mode, please see an usher for a listening device.
4. Participate in Worship
As a visitor to Prince of Peace, we ask that you fill out an orange card to let us know more about you. These cards can be found in the red attendance folders that are passed during each service. Toward the beginning of each service, everyone is invited to stand and greet one another. You will not be singled out because you are a visitor. Worship here at Prince of Peace includes Biblical readings and teachings, music, prayer, giving, and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
