Jesus’ words seem so relevant for our day: “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” In the face of the challenges, our nation and our world are currently experiencing, what is the source of hope for us as God’s people? What does it mean to live with hope—and how does that living hope mark our faith as genuine? Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your victory, for the living hope that we have because of Your resurrection. We hand over to you our fears and exchange those for the hope that comes from You.
