Classical Piano & Organ Concert

The Prince of Peace Concert Series will kick off its third season on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at 6:00 pm in the Prince of Peace Sanctuary. This fabulous concert will feature Italian classical pianist Pietro Iannotti and locally renowned organist David Ludwig, Jr. A wine and cheese reception will follow the concert. Doors to the Sanctuary will open at 5:30 pm. Admission is free, donations are gratefully encouraged.

Pietro Iannotti was born in Salerno, Italy and began studying piano at the age of five. He received his bachelor’s degree at the Conservatorio di Musica ‘Giuseppe Martucci’ Salerno and later a master’s degree with distinction at the renowned Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. In 2018, Pietro performed a concert in the historic Universitetets Aula in Oslo, Norway. He also played the inaugural concert for the 2018 Silk Road International Show Season at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center in China. In addition to performing, Pietro has taught for over 18 years in Italy and abroad, many of his students earning competitive awards. Since 2013, Pietro has taught in two music schools in Florida and has performed regularly for music festivals throughout the United States.

David Ludwig, Jr. is a graduate of Valparaiso University and The Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He served for many wonderful years as Minister of Music at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and currently serves as Worship and Arts Director at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Winter Park. David has been featured in the Prince of Peace Concert Series in 2017 (Reformation 500 Celebration) and 2018 (Local Lutheran Organists Concert). He loves to make music with all, especially with his wife, Janet, and his two sons, Ben and Chris.
