Organ Close upWe are beginning the process of renovating and updating the Möller Pipe Organ in our sanctuary. You can read a full description of the needed work and proposed plan here. An open letter regarding the organ renovation from former Prince of Peace Minister of Music David Ludwig, Jr. can be found here.

Parish Choir

Choir and CommunionThe Prince of Peace Parish Choir adds special music to our traditional worship service from September to May. Anthems are presented either a cappella or with accompaniment (usually piano). The Parish Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Music Room. New voices are always welcome!

Each December, the Parish Choir presents a Festival of Lessons and Carols. This choral and congregational program tells the entire Christmas story, beginning from the book of Genesis. Choral, congregational, and instrumental music are used to weave the story.

Handbell Chorus

Ringing a joyful sound to the Lord, our Handbell Chorus presents music seasonally. Rehearsals take place throughout the season of Advent to prepare music for Christmas. They also occur throughout Lent to prepare for Easter. Please check the church calendar for rehearsal dates.

Worship Team

IMGP9602The Worship Team leads music in our contemporary worship service. The band is made up of piano, keyboards, organ, drums, acoustic guitars, and lead and backup vocalists. Currently, the group is seeking electric guitar and bass players. An audition is required to join the Worship Team.

Special Music

Special musical events are periodically scheduled to bring in outside talent to glorify God and to enhance worship. These have included visiting youth choirs and traveling Christian musicians who are reaching out to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These events will be noted on the church calendar as well as the Events page.
